Forget dotcom, it's now dotanything!

Regulators Icann voted to ease it's strict rules on 'top level' website addresses.
This paves the way for 1000,000's of new website suffix's such as .bank and .sport

The process will commence in 2009 and will at first be limited to major organisations.
The city of London could create a selection of addresses ending in .ldn for example.

Eventually there could be family websites with surnames such as .branson and .sugar
but don't expect this to be cheap! For more info visit Icann or click here to explore further
